Abstract
Noah's Ark is a novel that follows eleven different characters in a fictional St. Louis suburb called Dillon, Missouri. To make room for an exciting new multi-million-dollar mixed use space, an iconic local restaurant called Noah’s Ark is set to be leveled. Before the demo can happen, the former owner has to auction off all the life-sized wooden animals that once filled the Ark. Each pair of animals ends up in the hands of one of the eleven main characters, each with their own interconnected narrative that forms a cohesive whole.
