Abstract
Abigail Fox Green’s collection of poems To Name Each Longing explores the dynamics of loss and longing both in relationship to the self and with another. It meditates on the shifting line between knowing and hiding from knowing; longing and love for beauty; and the desire to be sought, found, and known by another. It is concerned with the relationship to one’s self and the ways in which relationship with others carries the certainty of pain as well as healing and love.
