Abstract
"Another Black Speck" is a collection of poems from my time in the M.F.A. program. With an eye toward the minutia of love and human connection, the speaker of these poems searches for something graspable, something meaningful, within his ongoing domesticity. This collection is a meditation on the many details that stack up to our experiences of loss, memory, and affection.
